Independent Fiduciary counsel Let Your Values
Lead the Way

Your wealth should serve what matters most to you—not the other way around.

That begins with understanding your values, priorities, and aspirations before turning to financial strategies. At YourValues Wealth Counsel, I provide independent financial guidance to help you evaluate important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence—and use your wealth purposefully for the life you want to live and the legacy you hope to leave.

WHAT I DOClarity → Confidence → Inspiration

Wealth brings opportunity, but it also brings choices. I help you step back and see your entire financial life more clearly—what you have, how the pieces fit together, and whether your resources are truly aligned with what matters most to you.

That clarity can bring greater confidence in the decisions you are making today and the path you are taking forward. And sometimes, it can lead to something more: inspiration to think differently about what your wealth can make possible for you, your family, and the people and causes you care about.

HOW I CHARGECounsel Without an Asset Management Fee

Most wealth management advice is bundled with investment management and priced based on the assets a firm manages. YourValues Wealth Counsel works differently.

You engage me directly, either hourly or through a retainer, and pay for my time, experience, and counsel—not for managing your investments. Your accounts stay where they are, and there is no requirement to move assets or change how you currently manage your wealth.

I can work alongside your existing advisors, provide an independent second opinion, or work directly with you if you prefer to manage your finances yourself. In every case, my role is the same: to bring experience, perspective, and an objective set of eyes to the decisions you are making—while keeping you in control.

From the FounderThe Work That Still Called Me

From the FounderThe Work That Still Called Me

After nearly three decades serving individuals and multigenerational families at a leading independent wealth management firm, I stepped away from full-time wealth management to fulfill a promise I made to my wife, Kathy, when our sons were young.

I told her that once our sons were self-sufficient, and our own financial resources allowed, we would begin the next stage of life with greater freedom, purpose, and time for the people and causes we care about most. We have been blessed to begin that journey.

But in 2026, I realized something important: the work I found most meaningful throughout my career was still work I felt called to do. I wanted to continue helping families gain clarity and confidence around their wealth—not by managing their money day to day, but by helping them understand what their resources can truly accomplish.

That realization led me to create YourValues Wealth Counsel.

I believe there is an important gap in financial services. Many successful families have investment accounts, estate plans, tax strategies, insurance policies, and charitable intentions—yet lack a clear, integrated view of how it all fits together and whether it truly reflects what matters most to them.

The financial world can make wealth seem more complicated than it needs to be. I believe the better questions are often simpler:

  • What is our wealth for?
  • How much is enough?
  • How do we care well for our family?
  • How do we give wisely?
  • What do we want our legacy to be?

My wife and I have wrestled with many of these same questions. I understand them not only through decades of advising families, but also as a husband, father, client, and steward of our own family’s resources.

I founded YourValues to offer experienced, independent counsel that begins with you—your family, your aspirations, your values, and the causes you care about most. It brings me incredible joy to see those I care deeply about succeed.

Who I ServeWhat unites the people I work with has far less to do with how much they own and far more to do with how much they care.

  • Seeking clarity and confidence as they transition from accumulating wealth to using it well.

  • Navigating a major purchase, inheritance, career change, loss, or other financial crossroads.

  • Working to strengthen communication and align wealth, values, responsibilities, and legacy across generations.

  • Wanting an independent, experienced perspective on their financial plan, investments, or existing advisory relationship.

  • Preferring to manage their own finances while benefiting from experienced counsel on their plans and important decisions.

  • Seeking to make their generosity more thoughtful, effective, and aligned with what matters most to them.
